dar of Jessie Carrin, an 18-year-old Italian girl of
Hillsville, on 10-6-1896, the motive jealousy; the vic-
tim's 5-year-old sister and cousin of the killer were
wounded; the family had been in their home talking, the
three involved in the crime were sitting in the rear of
the room, their backs to the wall, faces looking to the
center; the first shot hit Jessie and the second hit the
Sister and the cousin, John Johngrass; the killer was a
banana pedlar in McKeesport; Jessie had refused to marry

him; sentenced Feb, 22, 18973 warrant issued May 263 for
