The following is evidently the case: "San Andreas, Nove h,

1887-George Gox shot and killed his son-in-law, Henry Cook
near a sheep ranch yesterday afternoon, Cox gave himself

up and had on a steel coat of mail, ‘The particulars of
the shooting are not yet known, except that Gox claims he
