"A short account of the trial of Cyrus =mlay, a black-man,
| who was convicted of robbery, arson and murder, on Thurs-
day, May 28, 1801 = received his sentence on Friday, the
e9th, and was executed, agreeably to said sentence, on
Friday, June 12, 1801, Aged about 35 years, With his
confession, taken from his own mouth a snort time before
his execution. And a number of interesting letters,.,
to which is added an account of his execution, and con-
duct at the tree, &. Burlington (NJ), S. C. Ustick,
1801. (Copy at New York Historical Society) 16 pages,
He murdered his master, Humphrey Wall, with an ax at
Ghesterfieldy N. J., and burned his house to hide the
