a Tos Mngeles policeman, Bailey and Perry hanged at San
Quentin after hangings had been delayed an hour to permit
a final appeal to the state supreme court in San Francisco
for a writ of error but court failed to intervene, Montijo
hanged at Folsom, Bond was shot and killed on Feb, 20,
