_desertion in Nashville; deserted Sept. 16 and
on Nov. 16 enlisted in Company K, lst Tenn,
Infantry and deserted. This will be the second
soldier who had paid the death penalty in Nash-
vide (Neshyaille DISPATCH, 13' May, 1863). 7 Jue
dius:Milika is: now in his grave, shot atnoon
yesterday; brigade under General Morgan shot
him; he was seated on his:coffin and his body
was pierced by 5 balls. (Nashville DISPATCH,
