23-year-old black man, electrocuted Georgia State Prison
Nov. 9, 1945, Failed in plea for commutation, solicitor
telling board how he had gone on to rob a soldier and a
sgilor after murder, Convicted of killing Pete D. Verge
(“ergiotis) in his liovor store in Atlanta about 11:15
on night of Dec. 30, 19h, Jonitly indicted with Elonza
