"Manila, Phillippines, May 1h, 190?- Eusebie Burias and
L. Aldea, who were convicted of the murder of Anna Hahn,
a school teacher in the Batangas district, were hanged in
Bilibid Prison Friday (May 1, 1909) afternoon, The execu-
tion was private, The crime which was committed in Janua-
ry, 1908, had robbery for its object. The victim was
hacked to pieces with bolos."
