Bollin, alias Lazarus Bolden, was a l7-yeareold black native of Lynch-
burg, Vae, who left home when he was 15 and went to Lawrence Co,, Pa,

tered the store, CassLer was counting money and placing it in the cash
register, Bollin grabbed a roll of bills from the counter and ran out

caught up with him in front of a barber shop and Bollin shot him
through the head before continuing his flight into some underbrush at
