On May 2, 1955, Taymyhill, an Army deserter, forger and
rapist who had served prison terms in both Missouri and
Ohio, robbed Shirley Bradford, night manager of a Fre-
mont, Ohio, restaurant and took her with him. He beat
her to death with an automobile jack when she threatened
to identifyx him. Traced, he was finally found in the
Kansas State Prison where he was doing time for a rmed
robbery. Returned to Ohio, he was convicted and electro-
cuted on Nov. 26, 1956,
