ton, Jane 15 (INS). - Jarvis T. R. Catoe, 36, negro, con-
fesed mass murderer of women, today was sent to his death
in the electric chair for the slaying of Mrs. Rose Abramo-
witz in March, 191. Catoe, whq walked to the chair in the
district jail, was pronounced dead 5 minutes after the
switch was thrown and three minutes after:the current was
shut off, The negro was named in 10 assaults on women and
5 murders, New York carged one murder against him and he
himself admitted another slaying in “Washington for which '
