LITTLE, Arthur,

little, a 39-year-old Negro was a member of the gang that
robbed 74-year-old blacksmith Jéhn Kidney at his home
near Williamsport, Ohio, on Dec, 99 1931. Kidney was
clubbed to death and his invalid 6h-year=old sister,
Sarah, confined to a Wheel chair because of dropsy was
clubbed into unconsciousness. One of the gang, John Hairs
ton, was captiired when he attempted to pass some of the
out-of-date bills taken ih the robbery an a dice game and
he confessed, naming his accomplices. All were speedily
taken into custody except Little who was Sateen’ captured
at the home of relatives in Mt, Gilead, N. ©, Little

was the last of the group to be tried and he was electro~

cuted on July 22, 1932.
