It will be remembered Dr. Davis was robbed and murdered

last September by a mob of negroes. Two were caught and
hanged March 22 (probably Ben Mcloy and John Terry = see
small card on them), Cesar Hennington, the one executed
today, was captured last March, He made a short talk on
the scaffold, saying there was not a third as many peo=

ple presermb as he hoped to have seen’and that he wanted
