"South Carolina: Three of the four negroes con-
demned for the murder of Mr. DeGraffenreid were
executed at Chesterville, 5. %., on Friday the
26th ultimo. One of them was pardoned by His
Excellency the Governor in accorance with the

recommendation of the Court and the urgent
