Antonio heppi, by stabbing, on August 23, 1905,
at York Run; allegedly a Black Hand murder; re-
ports stated he had received orders to discilplin
victim but ony by ' slashing’ him across the
face; went too far, thus Society felt no obliga-
tion to defend him; victim owed Mallini $100;
feud began in Italy; 'a New York representative o
