the night of Dece lh, 190, he met a young married white woman as she
was walking home from work and asked her for the time, When she became
frightened and tried to run, he grabbed her and dragged her into a
vacant loteHAEKE When she attemted to scream for help, he choked her
and threatened to kill her if she did not submit to sexual intercourse,
Arrested the next day and identified by his victim, he claimed as an
alibi that he had been drunk and passed out at home on the preceding
