"Natchez, Mississippi, Feb. h, 1899-Richard Green,
colored, was hanged here today for the murder of his
wife on June 8, last. Green was a convict on the county
farm where his wife was employed. Suspecting her of
unfaithfulness, he brutally mirdered her with an axe,"
