Knight's home and commenced_abusing Mrs, Parks. Knight
had ordered him from the house and Parks left swearing re-
‘venge. On the night of July 29, 1951, Parks and his wife
attended a fish supper given by a nbighbor of knight's and
when Knight arrived, Parks left and went home where he ob-
tained his shotgun and returned. He waited behind a tree
until he saw a car drive up that he thought belonged to
Knight and he fired at it killing Dana Mae Green who was
arriving at the fish supper with her husband and another
couple. Parks was convicted of the murder after a_con=
