18-year-old black, electrocuted Tennessee State Prison
(Warren County) on April 10, 1936, "Nashville, Tenn.,
April 10, 1936-Ernest Womack, 18-year-old negro and
confessed murderer, having eaten a ham sandwich and said
his last prayers, was electroduted at the state peniten~
tiary here at 5:15 o'clock today for the slaying of Paul
Ounningham, McMinnville taxicab driver." DELTA DEMO.
