BLANKENSHIP, Josiah (aka TURNER, Joseph)

Williamsburg, 1778. Cage.turns up.in Augusta County

@ Order Book, 1774-1779, pp 249-250 where he is remanded to
Williamsburg to stand trial on the statute for 'Privately
Stealing.' Had illegally entered the house of Mr. Wool-
rich Waggoner and swiped two coats and 55 yards of linen,
fe also turns up in Amelia County Order Book, 1772 /78 on
10/13/1773 where he is KEKXNARKKXKAXK arraigned for horse
theft. And also on 5/23/1774 wh re he is remanded to
June, 1774, term of Court of Oyer & Terminer for robbing
the nouse of Daniel Jones and for breaking into the house
of Tavena Hightower and stealing her clothes,"
