to acquaint you of poor Clapham's (an English trader) fate
He purchased two Panis (Indian) slaves here, he had the
imprudence to venture alone with them from Sandusky in aes

him, but did not put their scheme in execution till they
met with some Indians near Presque Isle to whom it seems

help them kill their master - and then plundered all his
