at Windsor on “arch 22, 1875, Since hemkde the desperate
attempt on his own life when in theSuffolk Co, jail, his
deportment has been exemplary and he has looked forward to
this day without fear, The execution took place in the
corridor of the Suffolk County Jail. The same gallows

has been used for 20 murderers,"
