| Patton,—a 5O=year=old Henderson Co. 3 Tex., rancher killed

| his hired hand » John McGehee, MeGehee's wife Garrie and

before Thanksgiving in 1932 by bludgeoning them to death,
McGehee caught Patton attacking his wife. So successful
was Patton in hiding the bodies that it was four years
before the crime was proved at which time Patton confessed,
He was electrochted at Huntsville Prison on July0, 1937,
