CLOONIN, Dennis —

Executed April 6, 1893, Allegkeney Co., Paez murdered his
wife Bridget in a drunken and jealous frame of mind on
317-1892 3 was a hard drinker and quarreled often with
his wife "but never in the presence of the children's; "he
beat her with a chair until it fell to pieces; then walked
to a neighbor's and had his tie tied and went on"; con-
victed and sentenced June h3; kept in exeellent condition
and spirits while awaiting execution; case tried in Mar,
1892 term, Nox. 13; "his only visitors were the priests
and Sisters of Charity; his sons claimed the body and he
was buried in Calvary cemetery"; Pittsburgh POST, April
63; warrant issued 2-1-1893,
