When Ralph was lé=years=old, he assaulted a number of
women in his native Cleveland ,@hio, and shot two of them.
tt was believed, but not proved,thatz he had shot and
killed lé-year-old Janet Frater Blood on Jan. 3, 1929,
but he was sentenced to two 2O-year terms for the shoot-
ing of two of his victims who lived to adentify him. He
was paroled on Jan. 7, 191, and returned to Celweland,
On June.3, 193, hbrutally raped and killed 5-year~old
Mary Jane Brady. On Oct, 4, 1943, Ralph was electrocuted,
