Convicted of the murder of Bennie Ralls by shooting with
shotgun. Date of crime was 10-22£1938, Indictment re-
turned following Monday and Sheffield placed on trial 2
days later. Site was a 2-room cabin 2 miles from Manor
which Sheffield and Ralls shared. See appeal: 2 SE (2)
