January 22, 1779, for murder by poison. Ltr. dtd, March
27, 1985, from Philip Schwartz. His source: Sussex

Hzs name was Kitt and he was the property of Elijah
Northington, See Court Papers (under FOUNTAIN, hanged
samed day) - VIRGINIA = BOOK AND MAGAZINE EXCERPTS.

Hearn checked source and says that he was con-
demned for preparing illicit medicine. He says
that his case does not seem to be related to that
of Fauntain, Gabe & P olly who were condemned at
