MILLER, Barbara September 14, 1883,

"Richmond, Vae, 9-1)-1863-Barhara Miller, colored, was
hanged here for complicity in the murder of her husband,
Charles HenryLlee, her accomplice, was hanged on the third
of last month, is execution took place in the jail yard
of the Henrico Co, Court House, and was witnessed by

about 100 people. The drop fell at 12 minutes past 12
o'clock. She died from strangulation. Several thousand
persons were in the vicinity of the jail, werything
