"Bridgeport, Conn., June Z, 1921 = Elwood B, “ade was
hanged 2 weeks earlier for the. murder of husband of his
mistress, Mrs. Ethel Nott, on Auge 29, 1920. Shot Nott
times in his home in presence of Mrs. Nott and then
stabbed him 19 times to B¥SPKXXE stop his "squealing."
Body was carried to attic and placed in a trunk and then
buried in a quicksand bed. Testimony in “ade's trial was
to effect that he ordered Mrs, Nott's two children to
play jazz on plano to drown out sounds of murder. Mrs.
Nott was sentenced to life imprisonment on date above,

father was given one year sentnce on plea of guilty to
