Pitkin, Gunnison Co., Colo. On the afternoon of Maréh 10, 1932,

he encountered a 79-year-old white Pitkin pioneer, Mrs. Rena
Schierenback, on the streets of Gumison and spoke to her, Bhe told

poured kerosene over the house, set it afire and went home and to
