Sobel, a former railraod section crewman and frustrated
miner wrecked the train carrying gold from Cripple Creek,
Coloe, to Denven as it-crossed over-a trestle, intending
to steal the shipment. However, it had been melted down
into one solid ingot which was far to heavy for nim to
carry lone, so he cached it ina hidden Location and it
-has_ never been founds One man,WABXMXXIXRAKXEREXKRR SKK
RAAXRAKE W. G. Milner of Salt Lake City, was killed in
the wreck and Sobel was tried-and-convicted- of murder.
He was hanged at Saguache, Coloes on Sept. 21, 189).
