SOEDER, Leon See Large CARD.

Seeder was a German emigrant who had previously served a
term in San Quentin for burglary, When he returned to
vantlrancisco after a visit to Germany, he brought his
deceased wife's brother, Joseph Blaise, back with him
and the two who shared a room took out $3,000 life ine
surance policies naming each other as beneficiLary,See~
der stabbed his brother-in-law to death and was con«
viceted on circumstantial evidence and the testimony of a

cell mate to whom he confessed, He was hanged on 3-27
