"Marietta, Georgia, June 21, 190/7=John Mitchell, a negro,
was hanged here today for the murder of Nash Johnson,

also a negro, His neck was broken and death was instan-
taneous, Dennis Dallas, another negro, is under sentence
of life imprisonment for complicity in the same crime."
