"The execution of Lamb was the second in*the county |
(Floyd Co., Ind.). He lived in the neighborh@od of Green
ville in this co., and was making his way home one hot
summer day when he overtook a man @bout 2 miles from
Greenville and the two traveled together some distance
when they sat down to rest in the shade of some trees at
the roadside, about 1 mile from where the toll-gate now
