MOORE, John
Moore, a white man, lived near the village of Dudleyville, Bond Cosy
tll. In July, 1869, he went to the home of Mrs. Louisa McAdams, a
near neighbor whose husband was away, and grossly insulédd her, When
she attempted to escape fran him, he followed and murdered BICCHAKEX KY
her by cutting her throat from ear to ear, When he was arrested,
Moore made a full confession and was tried, convicted and sentenced
to die. He was hanged in Bond County on October 23, 1869,
