"Thomas Emmons, alias Burke, John W ood, Michael
Millery, William Dillon and Robert McMullen were
all convicted of burglary ata court held at
Monmouth, New Jersey, last dune. OF these five
the two former were executed on Friday Last
(July 24, 1778) and the other three reprieved,"
