Ralph, 2a 32-year-old Cleveland, Ohio, white man, was only 18-years-
old when he first got into trouble. Beginning in the fall. of 1928,
he raped a number of Gleveland women and girls at gun point and shot
two of them when they screamed. On the night of Jan, 3, 1929, he
is believed to have been the man who shot and. killed 16-year-old
