"Executed August 31, 1911; Chester Con, bays
killed a neighboréng farmer, John C. McNamara of
Elk Township near Tweed's Mills, on Feb. 24,
1910; victim apparently owed Burke a small sum
of money ($10.00) and he went to his house to
Gollect it; there was an altercation but victim
was about to pay it when Burke shot him with a
Shotgun which he had with him; was tried in Aug.
1910 term; sentenced Nov. 14; warrant issued
