Details: This man wis oriqionally set to hang ot Morristown on 12-11-8t
but escaped. Everrtually he was recaptured and brouaht befove the

State Supreme Court at Trenton on a writ of Habeas Corpus where
Lis death sentence was affirmed — August (782. tis unclear

whether he was returned to Morris County ov retained at Trenton)
for execution. There is no record of his case being reviewed by
the Governor's Privy Council.
