was the oldest son and in time he took over management of the farm

then swore out a warrant for the arrest of James for aggravated
assault and battery and on the da y that the indictment was returned,
James made threats against his father's life, On the night of June

and putting away a team and then walked twwards the gate leading to
the road, Four shois were fired and James Allison was heard to ex-
