"New York; At the Supreme Court held in this
vity in November last, one thomas Bing recei-
ved sentence of death for murdering his wife,
and on W edenesday last (January 12, 1726) was

"New York: On Thursday last one THOMAS BING,, a
feltmaker, who was a soldier in the garrison
here, was committed to the Common Gaol of this
city for having beaten his wife, (who was very
big with child), so unmercifully that she died
immediately." AMERICAN WEEKLY MERCURY, Phila-
