Feuger, born in St. Johns, Mich., on June 10, 1935, first was sent to
reformatory when he was lj-years-old and stole some merchandise from —
several stores. He spent nine of the next eleven years in prisonsfor ,
charges ranging from burglary to bad checks and was finally released
from Jackson Penitentiary in Michigan on April 1), 1960, Me worked

Feuger next showed up in Dubuque, Iowa, where he rented a room and
priced various automobiles in used car lots for a few days. On the
