Feb. 1, 1906 of Walter P. Dolsen of Michigan, his room
mate whose body he packed in a trunk and then fled,
being eaptured 18 months later at Vancouver, B, C,.
“ithout handeuffs and unassisted, Thurman walked from
his cell to the gallows in the jailyard., He asked for
time to kneel in silent prayer and then stepped upon
the trap which was Sprung at once. He made no statement
other than that the murder of Dolsen was in self-defense
and a fter great provocation,"
