son, on Nov, 8, 1956, Had murdered wife on night of Oct,
23, 1955, by beating her senseless with axe handle and
board and manually strangling to death, Lived on Cameta
Plantation, Sharkey Co, Had been in Hollandale drinking
and claimed too drunk to remember and form intent, Affir-
med by Miss, Sup. Ct, (89 SOUTHERN (2nd) 626) and execution
date of 11-7-1956 set, Another man to be exechted on that
date and new date of 11-8-1956 set (89 SOUTHERN §2nd) 919)
