Hood, a.30-year-old resident of Cleveland, Ohio, was con=
victed of murdering his 1l-year-old adopted son, Green=—
berrye Throughout his trial, Hood was extremely calm,

displaying little-emotion-and he maintained this atti-
tude even on the gallows. He was hanged in Cleveland on
