deceased wife's grave and placing flowers. On May 21,
1928, Ratcliffe followed him and bludgeoned him. Muse
lost consciousness but rallied at the hospital long
enough to identify Ratcliffe as his assailant. Ratcliffe
feigned insanity after his conviction but prior to his
execution admitéed that he was sane and had only acted
