Three slaves

"Mr. Keith, a planter on Peedee River lately suffered an
ihhuman death. He had been on business at Georgetown and
on his return was waylaid by three of his negroes, one of
which shot him in the breast. They have since confessed
the foul conspiracy against the life of their master and
were consigned to the punishment which they merit."
