Ex Date: Daa a2)

Details: Convict servant of Edward Hinckley. Had

been transported for horse stealing in
England. Confessed to ax-murder of his master and the
wounding of his mistress, the latter of whom he had
thought dead and tossed into a potato cellar together
with the murder weapon. Also plundered the house. Con-
demned at April 1727 session of Virginia General Court.
