was hanged here today inside the parish jail, in accord=
ance with the recent enactment of the Legislature, Only
15 persons were admitted to witness thé execution, The
condemned man during the morning was in conversation and
prayer with his spiritual adviser up to the time the drop
fell. At L:30 PM he expressed himself as ready to die,
