negro, convicted of the murder of Mrs. Elisa Norman, 89-
years-old, and her daughter, Emily Norman, 68-years-old,
was hanged in the county jail."

"Jacksonville, 9-21-1908-At Marietta, 7 miles from Jack-
sonville, some time between 7 a.m, and 5 p.m, Saturday,
Mrs, Elizabeth Norman, 89 years old, and her daughter,
Emily, 68 years old, were brutally murdered by some unknow!
party, who after committing the crime, took every cent in
