Details: Charleston, Mareh 27. On the 15th tnstant

Capt. Simmons and Messrs. Benjamin and
Taunton Brown after a long pursuit came up wtth near
Hammond's old store tn Ninety-Six District, JAMES BOOTH
and James Richardson, who murdered Dr. Orr and Mr. Keal.
On reststing and refustng to surrender, Richardson was
killed and Booth wounded. Booth afterwards made his es-
cape but was apprehended the next day tn the act of
